Augustine's Club 17 has become a neighborhood staple in the 70 years that it as served the Old Forge neighborhood. Originally opened as a family diner in 1952 by Leo and Tillie Augustine, it was named Club 17 as a reference to the previous owner's incredible family of 17 children. Back then, Augustine's Club 17 was primarily a bar and dance hall. Today, however, it has blossomed into a full-fledged family restaurant with excellent food and drinks.The town of Old Forge is the self-proclaimed "pizza capital of the world" and while that may be debatable, Augustine's Club 17 is certainly doing its part to add to the town's reputation. The menu here is dominated by both traditional and contemporary pizza recipes. One of the more interesting pizzas diners can try is the oyote pizzca with , roasted red pepper sauce, jalapeños, house blend cheeses.
